255+ Vietnam War Era Letter Lot Navy Husband To Wife Combat USS Denver Vintage

Love letter family 1965-1974

Most of these letters are from a husband to his wife. I have shown letters mentioning the Viet Cong (VC) and some reports of combat. Traveling to surrounding areas like Japan and Hong Kong is mentioned. He mentions shooting at and being shot at by the enemy. A letter mentions that he assisted the marines.

It is evident that the husband wasnt in Asia from 1968-1974. A few items arent related to the war, but to the school of the husbands son.

I dont know if he was on the U.S.S. Denver the entire time.

I have not looked inside all items, but there is nothing to suggest that the overwhelming majority of these letters are NOT from a member of the navy to his wife in the United States. Most letters seem to be from 1966-1968.
