Lovely Spring/Summer Colorful Floral Motif!
Made very well and in lovely condition with no chips or cracks.
Approx: 12 1/4"L x 9" D x 2"T weighing 3.25 Pounds.
A Bit if History:
Sigma Taste Setter, a New York-based importer/distributor of giftware, used the Primavera pattern porcelain, which later became known as the Towle International Company, known for Sesame Street and Star Wars products.
The Italian word "primavera" directly translates to "spring.
Another Company who introduced the Primavera Design was The Heinrich Co. manufactured in Germany during 1970-1979).
Heinrich Porzellan, known for its fine porcelain and bone china, was founded by porcelain painter Franz Heinrich in 1896, and later integrated into the Villeroy & Boch brand in 1976.
