Large vintage Chinese cinnabar-style ceramic vase with raised burgundy/wine-toned floral scrollwork over a glossy black background. Hand-finished slip decoration with a rich, deep tone rather than the typical bright red. Brown-glazed interior with visible kiln stilt marks. Gilt paint on the rim/foot shows beneath areas of black (see close-ups) — likely part of the original finish. Impressed factory number and small red star on base. A bold, statement piece for any vintage or Asian-inspired décor.
