Longaberger Basket, 1995 Heartland Basket, Signed Vintage American Splint Maple
Vintage hand made and hand woven splint basket made by the Longaberger Company of Dresden Ohio. It is signed, which denotes the individual basket makers, who in the Longaberger tradition are responsible for making the complete basket, from start to finish. The basket is in very good condition, with no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, and showing the usual patina of vintage baskets. I believe that this is from the "HEARTLAND" series and that this design is called a "button" basket.
