This is a beautiful vintage George Briard teacup and saucer plate set of the "Peony" design. This Peony design is an "authentic reproduction of the 19th century Japanese porcelain 'circa' 1825 from the private collection". This fine white porcelain set has the Japanese Imari style design with lotus flowers and beautiful floral patterns in green, blue, and red. George Briard is famous for well made housewares. This set was likely produced in the 1980s or 1990s..
Measurements: Cup is 2.5" tall, 4" wide from handle to rim, and 3" wide at rim opening. Saucer plate is 5.75" wide in diameter.
Condition: Great condition with no chips, cracks, or damages. There may still be slight wear due to age and prior ownership.
