Beautiful framed needlepoint cross stitch art work. This handmade needlepoint shows a bird sitting on the perch of a bird house above an arrangement of colorful flowers with a sign that says "Home Is Where The Heart Is". It is framed under glass in a dark wooden frame with an accent of twine/rope like material. This artwork has been professionally framed (see photos). The piece is dated 1999. With the frame it measures approximately 19 inches x 16 inches. Just the artwork itself measures 13 inches x 10 inches. The background is an off white.
Condition:
Good vintage condition. Some fraying of the twine/rope and sticker residue on the back of the frame. You can see the knots in the wood but the frame was made that way.
Perfect piece for a cottagecore / rustic aesthetic.
