This vintage English leather martingale is a unique addition to any collection. Crafted with brass horse medallions, this piece is perfect for horse lovers and collectors alike. Made in the United Kingdom, this martingale is a rare find and would make a great conversation piece.
The leather martingale is 19" long and 3 1/2" wide with 5 Antique English Horse Medallions attached. Approximately 1.2 lbs.
The top Medallion is a pre-1960 medallion that represents the Royal Crown.
The 2nd is the Llangollen Canal which is the waterway connecting England and Wales.
The 3rd is a Working Horse or Cart Horse.
The 4th is a Lion Rampart and is Pre-1800.
The last is a Windsor Grey medallion, the name was given to grey horses that were used by Royalty to pull carriages in various ceremonial professions.
