REAL DEAL HERE!! Marked EDP Taxco as well as some other marks this SOLID STERLING bypass ring is BIG AND GORGEOUS
Vintage 40’s-50’s
hallmarked E.D.P. in a circle with Taxco, Gro. (the state of Guerrero), Hecho (made) en Mexico 925. A master silversmith during the "golden age" of Taxco silversmithing. This very desirable signature is rare and hard to find.
From a quick search artist's initials E.D.P. listed as one of the "maestros", with contemporaries such as William Spratling, Hector Aguilar, Margot de Taxco, and Los Castillo.
Apparently the EDT mark is listed in a couple Mexican hallmark trade books
