The clasp/buckle that opens & closes has a loop/opening for a padlock, and the metal tray inside is removable. Measures roughly 16" x 7" x 7" and is in perfectly functional condition for daily use. It's also got a decent Patina and plenty of rust & scuffs, which solidify its antique aesthetic, and make it an ideal accent to a rustic, utilitarian decor when used for a display. Sold as pictured.
