This is a beautiful handsewn Japanese Kimono I bought during my time in Japan. I brought it back with me, but I'm decluttering, and I've decided some of my yukatas and kimonos have to go.
This Kimono is one of my favorites and has beautifully printed and then hand painted designs throughout.
There are a few stains (as shown in the last three pictures) around the collar.
I tried capturing pictures of the hand stitching, but it doesn't come across that well in photos. And this Kimono has a different way of tying the collar down from the usually snaps I've seen. (Yes, those "loose" threads are purposeful.)
