Masonic, Freemasons Square & Compass Solid Aluminum Bookend
Silver/gray in color. Some surface wear from age and use. Each one measures 6 1/4" high and 5' across and weighs around 1 pound and 2 ounces probably sometime 1920-1949.
Seen these made out of plaster, resin, brass, bronze, Iron and probably something else. I think they are great. Pillars for strength, roof over your head, the steps you take to enter, Grandmaster, compass, square, Eye,
I like these the best- Non-Ferrous they are not going to rust or peel if painted. Chip and crack free, no unnecessary weight, attractive and have developed a nice patina.
We do not alter any items sold; they are listed the way they were found. We get the dust and dirt off, but all serious cleaning/polishing and repairs are the decision of the purchaser.
