This basket was handmade with paper, and has a wooden base and pinecone pieces. Everything is made by hand, I cut, drill, sand and paint the wood; and for the basket I cut strips of paper and roll them around a thin needle and after I have enough, I paint them and I'm ready to start weaving.
Finally the whole piece is protected with water based varnish.
