A wonderful southwestern "Indian" bracelet by Arrow Novelty Co. of New York. The company purchased their "Indian" jewelry from a supplier in Colorado. It's unclear if they were Anglo or Navajo made for the tourist trade. It is hallmarked with the 900 coin silver mark in an arrowhead. A fine example of Fred Harvey era "tourist" jewelry. The triangular (carinated) shank is accented by 5 natural turquoise petit-point/snake eye stones that have aged to pleasing shades of green. The cabs are set in plain bezels that alternate with applied silver drops. Flanking the stones on the pointed ridge of the shank is an applied fine rope detail. Hand stamped designs provide the finishing flourish. The bracelet displays some dedicated wear, as can be seen on the applied rope. You can still see the design, but some of the twist detail has been worn nearly smooth in places. The cuff measures 5 5/16" end-to-end on the interior x 1/4" wide & weighs 15.3 grams. In excellent well-loved vintage condition.
