Vintage Solid Brass Picture Frame Embossed W/Ornate Victorian Scroll Design

This exquisite rectangular shaped solid brass picture frame is embossed with a heavily ornate Victorian scroll design on all sides & a large leaf like design at the top. Has an attached easel with scrolled design on the back held on by screws that adjust & moves to lay flat. There are four adjustable brass turn mounts with screws on the back that hold the cardboard backing & frame glass & loosen to insert a 5” x 7” photo. Also has a brass ring holder on the back for hanging the frame on the wall. Frame is heavy at just about 2 lbs & dimensions are 8 3/4” L, 12 1/4” H & 3 1/4” W with easel fully open. The exact age of the picture frame is not known but it is believed to be from the early to mid-1900’s. Frame is in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or discoloration to the aged brass or to the frame glass. See all photos.
