Great Grandpa Perry would deliver blocks of ice in the summertime. He brought the ice into the house and would take a chunk and make ice cubes with this ice cube breaker. This piece was made by the North Bros. of Philadelphia, PA., made in the USA. I have held onto this pice since my grandparents passed in the 1960’s. We have photos of the ice cube maker doing its thing. It has the original green glass catch dish. We would love to share this with you. It would make for a great kitchen decor piece, or for a collector of vintage kitchen items.
