****Damaged Lid****
The lid has a chip on the scalloped edge that is 0.5 inches wide with a crack that extends to the center of the lid. Shown in pics 3, 4 & 5.
The compote base has no flaws and is in excellent condition.
I’m not sure what to call this color… see color comparison in pic 10 to Fostoria blue/aqua milk glass bowl (right) and Westmoreland jadeite bird nest. (Left) To me, it looks in between the two colors but lends itself to the other color it is displayed with.
The glass is opalescent and has pinkish gold hues when held up to light. See pic 9.
