Antique satin fabric, vintage silk, handmade quilt patchwork, 64 pieces

I purchased these amazing quilt pieces at an estate sale. They were made by one or both of a pair of crafty sisters who lived and crafted together for many years in the farmhouse they grew up in. These beautiful Grandmother's fan pieces were hand sewn from silk and satin scraps that they gathered over the years of quilting and sewing. It was never finished, but put away with a lot of other unused things like embroidery and tatting. It is from a non smoking home and is clean and beautiful.

There are 64 pieces with the that are about 5.5 x 5.5. The artistry and detail is amazing as none of them are the same color combos. They are really just enchanting. I wanted to just keep them in a pile in the front room, but my husband says I have enough old scarves and things hanging around.
