All pieces are high-fired porcelain clay. They are built using a combination of cast and hand-built techniques. All casts are based on molds made from original sculptures by Tom Hatton.
Surface treatments are underglazes, glazes and stains applied by hand. Some pieces involve multiple glazings and firings. All surfaces are fired on at high temperatures.

Good vintage condition. Glaze and coloring is still crisp. There are two chips to the lid. Signed by the artist on the bottom. Measures about 12”L (nose to tail), and about 8”H (base to lid handle)
