These brightly colored paintings make you want to visit this village in Mexico and get away from the traffic and hectic pace of city life. The work is signed David Díaz.
The overall framed pieces measure 21” tall and 17 ¾” wide; the paintings, as seen, measures 12 3/8” tall and 9 ¼” wide. The painting appears to be in very good condition. The frames are nice with steel-blue-green and bronze distressed features; there are a few rub marks on the frame, but in overall good condition. The piece is double matted with a blue-green mat and a nude mat. The dust cover on the back is brittle; there are also water stains, but they appear to be on the frame and no evidence of moisture in on the artwork itself. There is non-glare glass protecting the artwork, which adds to the substantial weight of this piece.
