This is a very rare Grundig GDHS 223 orthodynamic headphone in excellent condition. This is a superb-sounding set of headphones which is related to other headphones all based I believe on vintage Fostex drivers, including the Victor HPD90, Concept CE-H, Denon SH90 among others, all of which are superb. I'm not sure what they did in the old days to make such a wonderful sound headphone, but in my opinion it has never been bested. They have a beautiful crystal clarity to their sound with an extremely low reach into the bass, and linear all the way. The original pads were deteriorated and I tried over a dozen different types of pads until I found a pair of hybrid pads that provided the best comfort and the best frequency response.
No stand, box, or case included.
