This Griswold no 8 Waffle iron is very rare & HTF. The Top paddle has THE “NEW” AMERICAN, NO 8 in cursive in center, PATD MAY 21 1901 and MAY 24 1901. (NO PADDLE NUMBER ON TOP, NO GRISWOLD LOGO). The back paddle… GRISWOLD MFG CO. No 8 (in cursive no paddle number.) ERIE PA. The base has 975 WI CO.
Low base and a gorgeous waffle iron. LYE BATH X 2 days, E TANK 3 DAYS, seasoned with BUZZYS X 4. Wooden handles. FANCY HANDLE ON BASE. It is IMMACULATE! You will love this rare WI.
