1960s plastic whistle from the Vietnam War era.
Brass whistles, mainly used in the 1940s, are listed separately.
U.S. stamped, likely Army issue.
The body is stamped with "1966," and the original packaging also has a contract number.
Includes an adjustable lanyard.
Deadstock, new and unused.
I haven't untied the lanyard, so I can't confirm, but
a clean cork ball is visible, so the sound is probably fine.
There appears to be no significant damage other than age-related deterioration.
Deadstock items from the Vietnam War era, which are already scarce, are rare.
