Absolute gorgeous vase!
It is my belief that this is a piece by August Whalter & Sohne, however I cannot guarantee this as the piece is not marked.
In my opinion, this piece is in good condition given its age, however please be aware that this piece is not perfect. There appears to be a line in the glass which is either an internal fracture (it is smooth to the touch on both the interior and exterior) or it could possibly be something that came from the manufacturer that way in the glassmaking process. I am not an expert so I cannot say for certain (see photos).
Also, there are some chips on the points around the rim of the vase (see photos). There is also a small chip on the boys nose. Also, there are some scratches on the frosted areas pf the vase (see photos) as well as some surface wear to the bottom of the vase (see photos).
