Bought in an antique shop in Kyoto, she said it’s over 100yrs old. It’s made of Japanese wood so nothing ever molds in it- it wicks out the moisture. This furniture also easy to transport because the top and bottom lock into place and easily unlock to become two piece to travel/move is more easily (you can see this in the last photo) please see all photos, this piece is extremely old and too big to ship so only available locally
