This attractive bone china teapot was made by Sadler of England. It features plums, blackberries and white flowers on a white background. It's the large size which holds approx. 5 cups (40 fl.oz.) and measures 8 inches from spout to handle and 7 inches high. The interior is glazed. The finial is a rare open one with gold. There is also gold trim on the rim, base, handle and spout. Marked, "(crown) /Sadler (in a banner) /Made in England". The teapot is in very good condition - it looks unused. I can see no crazing and no loss to the gold.
