India Indian wood antique or vintage box Wood box dark brown silver-tone metal trim copper half-circles old-looking nails embossed metal strips simple latch hinged lid almost 7" long X 2" tall X 2" wide. Seller doesn't know who made it nor where - but assumes India - nor when - but assumes it is antique based on rich patina of wood and metals, rustic assemblage and type of nails used. Good condition - no damage, hinges intact, doesn't close tight but that might be by design, inside in clean except for what looks like sand or dust, closure clasp works fine. Selling as found - Seller has not conditioned the wood nor attempted to polish the metals. Intriguing to think about what it might have originally held.
