1978 Oregon Trail Brass Buckle with original stamped leather pouch.
Great collector piece celebrating the start of the Oregon Trail in 1843! Classic oxen wagon train of pioneers blazing the Oregon Trail.
Made by the Ben Franklin Company and H.M Limited, who are still producing products to this day!
Originally a belt buckle but it can be used for anything including scrapbooking/repurposing. It has built up a beautiful patina, which I didn’t want to remove. This could however be polished up real shiny if that’s your taste.
A bit of scratching on the underside see pic 8. Small amount of tarnish on the bail, pics 4/5.
