GÜNTHER WALZ: (Information from the pamphlet that was originally given out with the print) The painter Günther Walz was born in Graz, Austria, in 1939. He studied painting, Graphit and glass painting under Professor Bäumer at the Academy of Applied arts, Vienna, and is now a freehand painter. Walz has exhibited at one-man shows at home and abroad and has taken part in various group exhibitions. His paintings have been acquired by government institutions and public authorities and by private collectors in Austria, Europe and overseas.
