This lovely dish is silver and represents the 100 year anniversary of the St Louis world's Fair. It also represents the Louisiana purchase Exposition which lasted from April thru December in 1904. Many people don't know this occured at the same time as the fair in St. Louis and they were celebrated together. On it is pictured Neptune and a beautiful mermaid. Also are the dates 1904 and 2004. The lovely bldg represents the explosion of the architectural history of our country. This is indeed a rare piece and will be cherished for years to come.
