FastenMaster introduces the Log Hog, an extra heavy-duty log home fastener engineered for specific log home construction applications. The Log Hog, with its oversized head, thicker diameter, and additional thread, offers increased draw-down and holding power. Each of these FastenMaster screws is 10 inches in length, and the finish is epoxy. It has a coarse thread type. These wood screws have a Hex head and a Hex drive style and are made of carbon steel. The wood fasteners countersink into the log and allow the log to settle naturally. The Log Hog screws eliminate jarring and damage caused by a sledgehammer. Corrosion resistance is guaranteed. It is removable and reusable. It is ACQ approved. These Hex screws can be used indoors and outdoors and install much faster and easier than lags and spikes.
