The nematodes in Scanmask seek out pest insects, enter their bodies and release a symbiotic bacteria that kills the pest. BioLogic’s nematodes have not been modified in any way and are supplied in a moist inert carrier. Treating with Scanmask is easy! Apply with either a hose end sprayer, watering can or BioLogic’s Nema-jet sprayer. Scanmask controls a wide variety of insect pests, but is safe for people, pets, and plants. Scanmask is also compatible with other beneficials like earthworms, ladybugs, and praying mantids. Scanmask controls over 230 pests including: armyworms, black vine weevils, root maggots, cutworms, fire ants, fleas, fungus gnats, Japanese beetle larvae, tree borers, sod webworms, white grubs, and wireworms.
