A reinforced toe cap protects against rock strikes, and a fiberglass-reinforced EVA midsole absorbs impacts, provides stiffness for power transfer, and combines with Shimano's TORBAL 2.0 torsional midsole for excellent edge flexibility when cornering. A lace and hook-and-loop strap closure system makes for a secure closure, and Shimano's Ultread GE rubber compound provides exceptional grip when connected to the pedals or hiking our bike.
