With production duties handled by the legendary Gene "Bowlegs" Miller (whose work with Otis Redding and Etta James made him one of soul's most in-demand producers), and additional string arrangements by Willie Mitchell's younger brother, saxophonist James Mitchell, there's no doubt that this album will sound familiar to any fans of southern soul!
