Under the PVC jacket, a tinned copper braid pairs with an inner layer of aluminum and Mylar tape to form double shielding that blocks electromagnetic noise. A ferrite core placed near the connector catches any remaining interference, so images appear on screen without ghosting or color distortion even when power cords and other electronics run nearby.

The molded HD15 connectors have Pins 9 and 15 active in line with the Display Data Channel standard. This allows your monitor and graphics card to exchange supported resolution and refresh rate information automatically, which simplifies setup and reduces troubleshooting time.
