This book, after establishing some distinguishing characteristics of Calvinism, traces its advance throughout Europe and subsequently to America through personalities and events giving rise to our modern world and all its prosperity. By doing so it provides an encouraging reminder of how God turns the fortunes of faithful men and nations for the better--even ours, even today.
