Now-Again reissued six essential albums from the '90s Memphis Rap scene in 2024, each licensed directly from the artists. This is the seventh, a classic by the scene's center, Kingpin Skinny Pimp and his Gimisum Family and their self-titled album, recorded in 1994. This album, like all we've reissued, were originally released on rare tapes, only distributed in and around Memphis. This is the first time this album appears on LP; and is pressed on limited edition galaxy silver & clear colored vinyl, and comes in an OBI wrapped jacket that contains an oversized 12 page book that details the historical precedent, genesis and arc of this important American musical scene.
