The "Albany" pattern from Towle was made in the 1890s and features a distinctive gold wash bowl with a fluted edge. This spoon has no monogram. It measures 8 1/8" long, the bowl is 2 1/2" wide, and the spoon weighs about 42 grams.The back of the spoon has several markings: "925/1000," the sterling lion mark, "Sterling," and "N.A. Frost."
Condition: The spoon is in good condition for it's age. There are a couple scratches on the top part of the spoon (where the monogram would be.) The gold wash on the bowl is faded and there is tarnishing on the bowl. The spoon will not be polished before purchase.
