This stock pot is also considered a steaming pot and lobster pot due to its steaming capabilities. The aluminum stock pot has an indention which holds the stock pot basket off the bottom. This gives you about two inches in the bottom for your liquid for perfect steaming. The Bayou Classic 42 Quart Stock Pot is the perfect addition to any cooking environment.
