Late model Original Pilot frame with original AO logo glass lenses! American Optical AO logo(on the temple arms) Bright Chrome 52[]20 bayonet aviator sunglasses.The frames are Original Pilot Bright Chrome aviator frames that were issued to Naval Aviators in the 60-70’s. They have been disassembled, cleaned, and straightened back to original specifications. The frame is completely detailed. The nose pads are new, and the temple tips have been removed, cleaned, and reinstalled . The lenses have been removed, cleaned, and reinstalled. They rate a 9/10, very good. The frames are 5.25” wide. Please use that as a guide, with a pair of glasses that fit your face, to make sure these will fit your face. Please do this before you bid. The frames are extensively detailed, but they are not new. I do my best, but I cannot make them new. Comes with original soft or hard case, your choice. A piece of military history in excellent condition.
This frame rates a 9/10. Nice.
