| The Larson Electronics EPCS-MTS-3P-3HP-240V Explosion Proof Motor Control Station is designed for Class I, II and III rated facilities. Equipped with a single-speed magnetic line starter, this 18-amp unit is protected by a copper-free aluminum NEMA rated enclosure. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPCS-MTS-3P-3HP-240V features a single-speed, non-reversing magnetic line starter, which takes on a semi-clamshell design with an external flanged ground joint between the body and cover to make interior components easily accessible. This 3HP polyphase unit is compatible with 240V AC three phase and contains a coil voltage of 120V AC single phase. A motor operating starting handle is located on the right side wall of the enclosure and provides operators with visual confirmation that all component assemblies and operating functions are correct. The 3-pole control station offers a maximum of 18 continuous amps during use. The explosion proof motor control enclosure`s body, cover and operating handle are constructed of copper-free aluminum, and the operating shaft and brushing are stainless steel. Stainless steel springs allow operators to clearly see that all bolts are fully retracted from the body. Suitable for wet locations, a neoprene cover gasket seals out moisture and is permanently attached to the cover. Hubs: The explosion proof station contains three 2" NPT hubs on the enclosure for completing wiring connections. One 2" NPT hub is located on top of the unit; and two 2" NPT hubs can be found at the bottom. Mounting: The EPCS-MTS-3P-3HP-240V is compatible with surface-mounting applications. Applications: Indoor and outdoor general motor control protection in hazardous locations, areas where frequent washdowns occur, or where heavy rain and water spray is present, for motor overload and undervoltage protection and locations where centrally located motor control is necessary. |
