Get ready, your Ranger XP 1000 is about to transform! This simple to install lock and load kit delivers big horsepower, wicked acceleration, and a Ranger that feels like an RZR! The factory 80 horsepower Ranger 1000 is very limited from the factory, and we are here to help. The Ranger XP 1000 motor is essentially the same motor that is in the RZR S 1000, with smaller lift cams. Even with the weaker cams, this motor is still capable of nearly 100 HP on pump fuel. The key to more horsepower on this platform is RPM, which is limited not only in programming but by clutching also. In this tune we remove torque limitations holding back horsepower at higher RPM, extend rev limits, and tune fuel & timing tables for the higher RPM. This combination provides excellent results and the horsepower/speed you are looking for! This Lock & Load kit also includes our primary spring and magnetic adjustable clutch weights. Having adjustable weights is important as no Ranger is the same, and we send you with a guideline to help initially setup your Ranger depending on where you ride, tire size, and model. The clutching allows us to rev the motor to 7500-7800 RPM where best power is made and the difference is simply unreal. This simple kit is a must have for those looking for more out of their Ranger XP 1000.
HP Tuners Remote Tuning Device (RTD) upgrade option - Upgrades to HP Tuners RTD which includes the RTD, OBDII to Polaris Diagnostic Port cable, necessary credits to flash your ECU, one AA custom tune (more tunes optional), and ECU Unlock performed at the AA facility. Requires ECU to be sent in to be unlocked unless purchasing ECU outright. After the initial unlock, the ECU can now be flashed remotely at any time using the HP Tuners RTD and your smartphone. Our Recoil clutch weights are easily adjustable with simple magnets. They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) which has increased wear resistance, improved fatigue strength, and added surface lubricity. These clutch weights also offer great performance, and the ability to tune for many different applications or modification in the future, without the need to buy extra parts. The magnetic weights are the best option to properly place the mass where we need it on the weight for best performance for your application.
Level 1 87 Octane: This tune can be run on a bone stock Ranger on 87+ octane fuel. This tune adds +3 RWHP (4-5 crank HP) putting you at roughly 88 crank horsepower with just a flash! Add clutching and you are a huge 8-9rwhp above OEM! We would highly suggest our S3 clutch kit with this tune as it loads the Ranger better down low for torque, allows peak RPM to ramp up faster in the mid/high end, and has slightly higher peak RPM for better peak power. This tune can be run with an aftermarket exhaust without any issue, but our Level 2 tune is the best option for aftermarket exhaust as it's slightly richer for more power and less heat. The 2025 Ranger XP 1000 uses a new Bosch MG1 ECU. Currently no programmers are available that flash without first having the ECU unlocked. The HP Tuners Remote Tuning Device (RTD) allows the ECU to be flashed remotely at any time using the AA/HP Tuners RTD and your smartphone once the unlock process has been completed from AA. Why AA tunes over others? We have been tuning UTV's with CVT clutches for a long time, longer than almost anyone in our field going back to the 800 RZR. Tuning a CVT vehicle properly is not an easy task as you have so many variables at one time. We spend the time to wheel dyno(with actual UTV tires) correctly per modification, and have advanced ECU calibration and clutching knowledge to do so. Every change in horsepower can result in us changing clutching several times. We also develop most of our supporting mods so we know everything works correctly, and build parts to fit the vehicles needs. Lastly and honestly the most important; we then back up our results with real world data logging on local trails and our facility on 110 acres. It's this combination that truly makes the difference and why AA normally has a faster vehicle with the same or less rated tune horsepower. We left nothing on the table on the Ranger bolt-on parts, if others claim more power/gains for the same mods use caution in believing it.
