- Easy to install: The seal kit: Remove the toilet from the bolts and remove the old seal.Then install a new toilet seal on the bottom of the toilet.And install the nut and washer on the T-slotted bolt, and tighten it carefully.The floor flange: Disconnected the flange and pipe assembly from the black tank. Used sandpaper to clean up the leftover glue. Installed the pipe with silicone sealant back into the black tank. PVC glued the flange and pipe, and pressed/twisted the flange into place over the pipe, securing it with screws to the floor. Then tightened the clamp on he backwater tank.
