This rare layered quilt is a genuine two-generation textile a 1930s Fan quilt with a hidden 1800s quilt used as batting, showcasing early American thrift and artistry.

Pattern: Fan blocks with 1930s40s feed sack fabrics
Backing: Printed cotton muslin with subtle floral/star pattern
Construction: Hand-stitched, tied
Condition: Moderate wear, some fading, age stains, and multiple torn blades. Top quilt is machine stitched as well as inner quilt.
