Ours weigh in at .10". Wayyyy stronger.A Ledger That Means BusinessThe ledger that hooks under the cabinet keeps most of the stress off the screws and is ¾” wide. This allows you to attach the leveler to the workpiece through the side AND the bottom!Worthy ScrewsReal leveler call for real screws, am I right? That's why we provide #10 Philips head (zinc plated) screws that will penetrate a full 1" into the wood.Don't Get Shafted!Just say "NO" to the cheap 3/8" stem that the other guys use! Ours is a full 1/2" in diameter, built for the most punishing environments. The ball-end of the shaft fits snugly into a nylon socket, so it won't rattle around like it's going to self-destruct any second!Bulletproof FeetThe other guys use a thin gauge foot with a cheap plastic cap. Ummm… how long is that gonna last? Our zinc plated foot uses 2x the steel and has a permanently embedded nylon base that will NEVER come off!Lock-Nuts Included (of course)These are a MUST for the workshop or garage, especially if vibrating equipment is involved. • THE TOUGHEST LEVELER $$$ CAN BUY… BAR NONE - We set out to create a leveler that was 3X better than anything out there. 12 months development later, Desunia's "Super Duty" leveler was born!
• INTEGRAL LEDGER - This feature ensures that the load is carried by the leveler, not the screws, but our design does so much more. Since our ledger is extra deep, there's room for 2 screws that come up from the bottom. Next time you need to drag that heavy work bench across the shop floor, you'll be glad that we thought of this detail!
• A LEVELING STEM THAT MEANS BUSINESS - We took a look at the 3/8" leveling stem of a "normal" leveler and realized it simply would not do. So we upped the ante and made ours 1/2" in diameter. BTW, ours adjusts with a 6mm Allen wrench, so feel free to torque it down with no fear of the top hex socket stripping out.
• LOCKNUTS INCLUDED - Once you've made your adjustments, you want them to STAY that way, right? That's why locknuts are an absolute MUST for the workshop or garage, especially if any vibrating machinery is involved. Level - tighten - DONE!
• A SWIVELING FOOT THAT IS BETTER IN EVERY WAY - The 1 9/16" diameter of our feet does a great job in spreading the load, but that's just the start! Check out the nylon base that's integrally bonded to the metal (rather than some cheap plastic cap that's likely to pop off after looking at it sideways). In addition, the thick ball-end of the stem fits neatly into a perfectly matched nylon socket. This further prevents vibration while allowing the leveler to tilt up to 20 degrees!
