This piece was an actual Runway piece made for 1990 Fashion show in Paris. At that time, Margeretha Ley debuted her very first garment with Ostritch feathers. Since her passing in 1992 - not a lot of feather garments were made - as they were way too expensive to produce and sourcing Ostritch feathers was/is not easy. Any feather garments floating on the market are selling for top dollar.
You will likely not find another one like this. We acquired this piece at the show - as we worked on photoshoots for the brand. It has been sitting in our collectors vault for many years - having been used only once more for a shoot.
Original price of a garment with feathers started at $2900 in 1990!!!
