A Holocaust Memorial and Mezuzah. The command 'REMEMBER" (ZCHOR) in raised Hebrew letters is presented above a Holocaust Memorial scroll in a closed glass tube on the left. The Hebrew letter "shin"is presented above a scroll in a closed glass tube on the right, containing the Shema prayer, and signifying "showmer" or guardian of the door or home. The Holocaust Memorial aims to help preserve the memory of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust, the great tragedy that befell the Jewish People. The rotatable, closed glsss tube contains a removable scroll which lists the number of deaths at eight of the "extermination" camps, the number of deaths by country and the number of deaths at various labor and concentration camps. An unfolded copy of the scroll is provided. The memorial is made of solid brass, with a tarnish-resistant coating. Brass nails and a scroll removal tool are provided on the rear.
