This must-have accessory will improve your observing or imaging nights year-round. The Dew Heater Ring is custom fit for your 8" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain, EdgeHD, and RASA optical tube and permanently replaces your retaining ring to provide efficient heating across the plate and so you'll never be caught without it. The process is quick and easy. The ring is constructed of lightweight, durable aluminum. Its rigid frame supports the cable circuity and the telescope's Schmidt corrector lens. Plug the ring into an external 12V DC power source for consistent, continuous heat that will prevent dew from forming. The Dew Heater Ring features two storage clips on the ring to keep the power and thermistor jacks secure while accommodating the telescope's dust cover. The Dew Heater Ring also comes with a cable management clip that connects to the telescope's front cell for a convenient location to help you corral essential cables instead of dangling and causing unnecessary weight on your corrector.Celestron Car Battery Adapter for All Nexstar TelescopesThe hobby of amateur astronomy frequently takes the observer away from sources of AC power. The Celestron Car Battery Adapter is the accessory required for connecting any Celestron computerized telescope to a DC power supply or car battery. Plug the round post into the 12V input jack on the drive base of your telescope*, and insert the power connector into the cigarette lighter outlet in your car or on your power supply. The cord is 25 feet long, giving you plenty of reach between your telescope and 12V power source.
