Fantastic 1950s vintage celluloid bakelite Japanese jewelry box. The base color of the box is an ivory color. There is a rich embossed pattern of Japanese scenes on the top and sides. The base and drawer handles are black. The handles are dragon-shaped - which is a really cool effect (photo 2).
Each of the 3 drawers are lined with black velvet (photo 3).
Measurements: Approx. 7 1/2" w x 5 1/2" h x 4 3/4" d
This item is in wonderful vintage condition. There is no major damage (e.g. chips, cracks, repairs). There are cosmetic signs of use - some of drawer linings show wear. Please inspect all of the photos carefully - they are part of the description.
