Sikacryl transparent 1-component acrylic dispersion sealant for indoor use. Product description: Sikacryl transparent is a multi-purpose sealant and filler based on an acrylic dispersion. The sealant is milky white when fresh and becomes transparent after curing. Areas of application: for sealing cracks and crevices in bricks, plaster, stone and wood – for sealing connection joints with low movement in concrete, plaster, fibre cement, brick, plasterboard, aluminium, PVC, wood etc. – For connection joints around windows, window sills, doors, PVC pipes, dry walls, ceilings etc. Product features: – Odourless, good application. Properties - good adhesion. On surfaces such as wood, concrete, etc. Easy to paint over. For indoor use. Chemical base: 1K acrylic dispersion processing method/tools required: rear filling profile (e.g. Sika round cord PE) to the desired depth. Insert the cartridge into the processing gun and insert Sikacryl transparent into the joint. Make sure the sealant is fully in contact with both sides of the grout. Fill the joint and avoid air pockets. Sikacryl Transparent should be pressed firmly against the joint edges with a suitable smoothing tool to ensure good adhesion. Use masking tape in areas where sharp or clean lines are desired. Remove the tape while the sealant is still soft. Smooth out the joint with the smoothing tool and water. Fresh, non-cured sealant can be wiped clean with a wet cloth. All details are without warranty and subject to technical and logistic adjustments. It applies the latest product data sheet (PDB).
