LED 5 Inch Remodel Recessed Housing Four Bros IC rated remodel recessed cans are the perfect choice for your home improvement project. The durable yet lightweight design allows them to be installed when you have limited or no access to the space above the new fixture. IC Rated Housing: This 5 inch remodel housing is IC rated (Insulation Contact). No need to build an insulation box around the fixture which means even bigger savings. Wet Location Rated Housing: When used with Four Bros Lighting 5 Inch LED Downlight, this 5 inch remodel housing becomes Wet Location rated which makes it great for outdoor installations. Features Thick white baked enamel one-piece galvanized metal housing adjusts to a ceiling thickness from 3/8" to 5/8". Housing terminates at a 1/4" ceiling flange for even positioning of housing angle within the ceiling. 5-1/2 in. height accommodates use in 2 in. x 6 in. joist construction. Four high tension tempered steel springs secure remodel housing to ceiling. (Hole cutout template provided for convenience). Prewired 15 cubic inch 0.060" thick galvanized steel, with six 1/2" knockouts, four Romex pryouts, and snap on cover. All leads are #18AWG wire, the ground wire is connected to the bottom, and quick connectors are supplied on all leads. Through branch circuit wiring, (4-in, 4-out).
